Contemporary dark brown calf, sturdily rebacked to style, raised bands flanked by gilt rules, gilt lettering, hinges neatly reinforced. Translated by John Dryden, John Addison, Alexander Pope, and other "eminent hands," with explications by Abbé Banier. Two volumes, continuously paginated, bound in one.
